At this time, we want to give you an update on our history of street repairs. The Board realized that the streets were reaching their end of life and would need to be rebuilt or repaired. In order to prepare for this the Board retained an Engineering firm to take core samples and drop weight analysis of all streets. From this report it was determined which streets would be emergency repairs and which could be scheduled repairs. This resulted in a 6-phase repair/replacement plan. Phase 1 was completed in 2010, and phases 2 and 3 were completed in 2015 and 2020 respectively. Phase 4 is currently being completed and will be done in 2026. By taking advantage of reduced cost opportunities, the Board, through judicious planning, has been able to accelerate these phases and all streets are planned to be completed in only 5 phases with the last phase being completed in 2030. Street sealing will continue to be required every 5 years to extend the life of our streets.
